Listen to music, catch some rays, paint my never ending painting. 🎶🌞🎨 I've been working on this image since February 2017. It's still not finished. The meaning of this painting is about freedom. The title is "Terrarium Snake and Monarch Butterfly".
It started as training. That's my first tempera painting. Usually I decide to finish my work at some point. I imagined the picture and myself growing together. In the meantime I have freed myself from the idea of having to finish it at all.

The Waldspirale in Darmstadt, Germany. I always loved the philosophy of Hundertwasser. For the same reasons why I appreciate César Manrique (I'll tell another time). During my first two years of school (in Frankfurt), I drove past a kindergarten designed by Hundertwasser every day. "Why wasn't I in THIS kindergarten?" I always asked myself.

This picture shows me last summer when I spontaneously cycled to Darmstadt in the middle of the night. I arrived just in time for sunrise at the Waldspirale. In my opinion, all buildings should look more natural! This one contains 105 apartments and a parking garage. "Why don't I live there?" ...

The Islas Ballestas are a group of small islands. They are part of a nature reserve and home to numerous animal species. It was cool and a bit foggy, which are the best prepositions to see all the animals. For example, sea lions! When it gets hot during the day, they disappear in the ocean.

The Whale Thing. One of my drawings from 2010. I made countless sketches and drawings back then. I didn't think much about it either. Maybe you also shouldn't. Drawing helped a lot when I was feeling sick. This drawing was created very intuitively. I just put the pen on and let me drift. The resulting forms awakened associations, which I then expanded. I didn't invest more than 5 minutes in total.

It absolutely paid off to take the first tour of the day. Foggy jungle ruins are definitely an experience. At noon everything was clear.
